Meta Ads integration

Connect Meta Ads to import daily Facebook and Instagram campaign spend, clicks, and impressions. OnRamp joins this cost data to Meta-attributed visitors and their downstream product activity.

Connect Meta Ads

  1. Open Integrations then Ad spend.
  2. Select Connect Meta Ads and approve the Meta permission request.
  3. Select the ad account that belongs to this project.
  4. Run Sync now if you want to verify the connection immediately.

OnRamp needs access to read advertising accounts and campaign insights. If you cannot see an account after authorizing, ask a Meta Business admin to grant your person access to that account.

Attribution

Web: use consistent campaign UTMs on Meta ads, or the fbclid Meta appends automatically, on the destination URL. OnRamp recognizes Meta-attributed visitors from Facebook, Instagram, or Meta source values, together with paid-medium or campaign context.

Android app installs: Meta can append the same tracking parameters to the Play Store click URL. OnRamp reads the Play Install Referrer on first open and runs it through the same UTM/click-id parsing used for web traffic, so campaign-level attribution can work for Android installs — but only if your Meta app-install campaigns are configured to pass that referrer string.

iOS app installs: Apple gives no generic install-referrer mechanism to third-party ad networks. Meta participates in Apple's SKAdNetwork, but SKAdNetwork postbacks go to Meta, not to OnRamp — an iOS install discovered through a Meta ad shows as Meta-attributed, with no campaign a specific user can be tied to in OnRamp. Closing that gap would require either an App Tracking Transparency prompt plus IDFA collection, or a dedicated mobile measurement partner relationship — OnRamp's SDKs do neither today.

Spend is reported by campaign and day regardless of attribution depth; user-level conversion attribution depends on the acquisition details that reach your product.

What you will see

  • Campaign spend, clicks, impressions, and daily totals
  • Meta-attributed visitors and funnel outcomes
  • CAC and ROAS when spend and conversion data overlap
