Mobile ad attribution

Know which mobile ads create activated customers

OnRamp connects the acquisition source to the complete product journey: ad click or attributed install, onboarding milestones, activation, purchase and revenue. Compare campaigns by what users do after the install—not by installs alone.

  • Apple Search Ads keywords
  • Google Ads campaigns
  • No IDFA required
  • Revenue-connected funnels
Step 1

Ad

Capture Apple Search Ads attribution, Google click IDs, Play Install Referrer or campaign UTMs.

Step 2

Visitor

Attach the source, campaign and keyword to the same anonymous or identified visitor.

Step 3

Onboarding

Measure every meaningful step from account creation to first value.

Step 4

Activation

Compare campaign quality by completion and activation—not just install count.

Step 5

Revenue

Join purchases and spend to calculate CAC and revenue by channel, campaign or keyword.

Mobile marketing attribution built around the customer journey

Traditional attribution reports stop at the install. OnRamp keeps the acquisition context attached while the user moves through onboarding, returns, activates and pays.

Apple Search Ads attribution

Resolve Apple campaign and keyword IDs into readable names, sync spend, and compare keyword performance against funnel completion, retention and revenue.

Google Ads attribution

Capture gclid, gbraid and wbraid on the web, or use Play Install Referrer for Android app campaigns, then connect the campaign to downstream behaviour.

Privacy-aware measurement

Apple Search Ads attribution uses AdServices and does not require an IDFA or an ATT prompt. OnRamp focuses on first-party journey data rather than cross-app tracking.

Agent-ready investigation

Ask which campaigns have cheap installs but poor activation, which keyword creates paying users, or where a specific acquisition cohort leaves onboarding.

Frequently asked questions

What is mobile ad attribution?

Mobile ad attribution connects an app install or visit to the marketing source that caused it. A useful system preserves that source through activation and purchase so teams can judge campaign quality, CAC and revenue rather than install volume alone.

Can OnRamp track Apple Search Ads keywords?

Yes. OnRamp can capture Apple Search Ads attribution in the iOS SDK, resolve campaign and keyword identifiers, and combine them with synced spend and product funnel data.

Can OnRamp track Google Ads app campaigns?

Yes. Android and React Native apps can use Google Play Install Referrer for app-campaign attribution. Web journeys can retain Google click identifiers and UTMs. Google Ads account and spend connectivity may be presented as beta while account verification is completed.

Does mobile attribution require IDFA?

Not for the supported Apple Search Ads flow. Apple AdServices attribution does not require IDFA or an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
