Biggest absolute loss: Account created (350 users, 43.8% of those who reached the previous step). Start diagnosing there, but check that the step is measured the same way for every platform before acting.
Example numbers are placeholders. Enter your own counts. Drop-off shows where users stop, not why.
Reading the result
Step conversion is users at this step ÷ users at the previous step. Overall is users at this step ÷ users at the first step. The largest absolute loss is where fixing conversion recovers the most users, but a small step with an unusually low rate can be an easier win.
Pick steps that represent user progress, not screens: account created, permission granted, first value reached, paywall viewed, trial started. Learn more in how to track onboarding drop-off and onboarding funnel metrics. To turn drop-off into revenue, see the ROAS and CAC calculator.
