Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of OnRamp and any associated services. By creating an account or starting a trial you agree to these terms.
Last updated: June 2026
1. The Service
OnRamp is a funnel analytics platform for mobile and web applications. We provide SDKs, an ingestion pipeline, and a dashboard for visualising onboarding conversion, retention, and user sessions. Features are described on our website and may change over time with reasonable notice.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when signing up. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getonramp.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each organisation may only have one active subscription. You may invite team members under your organisation's account subject to your plan's seat rules.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment is collected during the trial. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account will be suspended and you will need to subscribe to regain access to your data. Your data is retained for 30 days after suspension before permanent deletion.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise us to charge the applicable fee at the start of each billing period.
Plan tiers. Each plan tier includes a monthly event quota. Events are always ingested - exceeding your quota does not drop data. However, session-level detail views (Sessions, Realtime, drop-off user lists) are locked until you upgrade. Funnel charts, conversion rates, and retention cohorts remain available regardless of usage.
Plan changes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Billing page. Changes prorate immediately. Switching to a lower tier takes effect at the start of the next billing period.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we will notify you by email and retry. Access may be suspended if the payment remains outstanding after our retry window.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - you retain full access until then. We do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by applicable law.
To request a refund or dispute a charge, contact us at hello@getonramp.dev within 14 days of the charge.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to track users without their knowledge where applicable law requires disclosure
- Send data that includes payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive PII through the event pipeline
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond normal use
- Resell or sublicense access to the service
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
7. Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what data OnRamp collects from your end-users via our SDK and how it is handled. In summary: we collect anonymous session identifiers, step names, timestamps, device type, OS version, and approximate location (country/city). Raw IP addresses are never stored. Names, email addresses, and user IDs are not collected by default - they are only stored if you explicitly pass them via the identify() method or custom event properties, which is optional and your responsibility to disclose.
Your data. Event data and funnel definitions you create remain yours. You may export your data or request deletion at any time by contacting hello@getonramp.dev.
Data retention. Event data is stored for a rolling 13-month window. Account and organisation data is retained for 30 days after account closure before permanent deletion.
8. Intellectual Property
OnRamp and its logo, dashboard, SDKs, and documentation are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose.
Our SDKs are open-source and available under the MIT licence. You are free to inspect, fork, and contribute to them.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You should maintain your own backups of critical data.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
